About this course:

This course will promote the development of `Better Business Cases', to assist participants in convincing decision-makers of the rationale behind a suggested investment.

Participants will also learn how to make the proposal look more professional and increase its chance of approval and wider stakeholder engagement.

Learning outcomes:

As a result of attending this course, you will be able to:.

- Analyse, create and communicate a simple business case.

- Make a compelling case for change.

- Identify and compare costs and benefits of alternative solutions.

- Prioritise alternative solutions according to key decision criteria.

- Plan for successful delivery of the project and realise the anticipated benefits.

This course is designed for both Professional Services and Academic staff.
