About this course:

This interactive workshop will introduce key skills for engaged research, from writing a Pathways to Impact statement to writing for a non-academic audience.

Participants will also explore the relationship between engagement and impact.

Practical exercises will address key skills and a case study will be used to draw it all together.

Learning outcomes:

As a result of attending this course, you will be able to:.

- Understand the benefits of engaged research.

- Identify engagement and impact plans for your own research.

- Identify, and have practiced, key skills for engaged research.

- Understand how you might obtain funding for engagement and impact activities.

- Develop a Pathways to Impact outline.

This course is recommended for Research Staff.
