Designed to meet the needs of those who come into contact with and may need to deal with a contamination of HF Acid. Aimed at occupational First Aiders and is however suitable for anyone who comes into contact with this substance.

As a result of attending this course, you will:

  1. Understand the seriousness of HF Contamination and state the dangers
  2. Identify HF Contamination and its Physiological effects
  3. State the Aims of First Aid Treatment
  4. Identify and be able to use specific antidotes used in HF burn Treatment
  5. Understand the treatment for specific areas of contamination
Who should attend this course:

All First Aiders who are required to potentially deal with a HF contaminated casualty. Also suitable for anyone working with HF or within the vicinity of HF.
