Voluntary Reduction to FTE Hours (1 November 20 to 31 October 21)
The University has considered a number of potential options for savings to mitigate loss in income and increase costs arising from the coronavirus pandemic. This includes inviting staff to volunteer to reduce their contractual hours by between 5% and 20% FTE between 1 November 20 and 31st October 21. The voluntary reduction in FTE hours will be used to temporarily vary current working hours by agreement between the manager and the member of staff.
Any reduction in hours will result in changes to pay, terms and conditions of employment and some benefits. For further guidance for those who have applied please refer to the FAQ’s in the first instance.
