There is a range of training available to staff and students. Please select the relevant tab for more information.

Mandatory Equality and Diversity training

All staff are required to complete the online Equality and Diversity training as part of their induction. If you have not already done so, you can access it online.

Instructions about how to access and enroll onto the training can also be found online. If you have any further queries about accessing or completing the mandatory training package please contact People Development

Staff who have completed their mandatory training 3 years ago or longer, will also soon be required to complete Refresh training.

Refresh training

It may have been a while since you joined the University and completed all your initial mandatory training.

In recognition of this, we have developed a short online Refresh training module that combines the key messages around Safety, Equality and Diversity, Sustainability, and Wellbeing.

All staff are required to refresh their knowledge in these areas by completing Refresh training every 3 years.

Gender-tailored career development

We recognise that there are gender differences in the way we approach personal development and that the effectiveness of career and personal development training courses may differ by gender. In response to this, the University runs gender-tailored development training with the aim of creating the most effective and supportive training environment.

Staff and students who identify their gender as non-binary are welcome to attend their preferred course.
