2016 Employee engagement survey

We are continually striving to make this a great place to work by creating an environment where colleagues can thrive. By listening to you and responding to your concerns, we can create a positive working environment together.

Since the Employee Engagement Survey, you and your managers have been working locally to make improvements where you want to see them.

Issues that have a wide effect across the University have been identified and were shared with you in March 2017. We’ve taken time to understand the problems and look at other sources of information. We ran a follow-up poll and generated ideas at a Positive Working Environment summit. We are using our experts to respond to the concerns raised and can now share action plans.

Progress is being monitored by the Positive Working Environment (PWE) board and reported to the Vice-Chancellor's Executive Group (VCEG). The PWE board is chaired by Jacqui Marshall, Deputy Registrar and Director of People Services and Global Partnerships, along with Kate Lindsell, Anne-Marie Baker, Kim McNicholl, Ruth Grimmer, Dave Hosken, Rob Mitchell, Nicky Britten, Hannah Rundle, Jo Hamilton, Imelda Rogers, Michelle Ryan, Andrew McRae, and James Hutchinson
