Professor Jamie Shea Inaugural Lecture 'Making strategy: Alliances and the case of NATO
At a time when multilateralism and the value of international organisations are being questioned, not least by the United States, the nation that did more than any other to establish the global liberal order in the first place, Jamie Shea will examine whether NATO is still fit for purpose. Is the Atlantic Alliance resilient enough to withstand the shocks from within and without that are currently testing its solidarity? Will its current strategy be enough to guarantee Europe security and to rebuild a solid transatlantic partnership?
