Summer Recruitment Fair

University of Exeter Summer Recruitment Fair

Wednesday 8th May 2024, 11:00 - 14:00
University of Exeter Forum, Streatham Campus

This May we will be hosting our Summer Recruitment Fair! With over 15 exhibitors, our final recruitment fair of the academic year welcomes companies from a range of sectors, offering opportunities such as casual, part-time and summer work, internships, placements, graduate roles and postgraduate study.

The event is open to students of all years and disciplines. The fair is also open to our graduates.

How to attend the Fair

To attend the fair you can simply turn up on the day!

If you would like to look at the employers who will be coming, you can find out all about them on the Handshake Fair listing.

Using Handshake before and during the Fair

You can look at the list of exhibitors in advance through the Handshake listing for the Summer Recruitment Fair 2024. You will also be able to access the floorplan in Handshake during the fair, to see where everyone is situated.

If you have never used Handshake before you will need to log in. To log in and complete your profile, please visit https://exeter.joinhandshake.co.uk

If you haven't activated your account yet, when prompted select the 'single sign-on' option and follow the on-screen instructions.

This is NOT a virtual fair - you will not need to book specific sessions to see specific employers, you don't even have to register to come if you don't want to!

Prepare for the Fair

You can find resources on Career Zone to help you make the most of the event, such as this SWAY page on preparing for the fair. You can also book Career Zone workshops on other aspects of career preparation, such as networking, by visiting the events page on Handshake.

Photography

Please note that photographs will be taken at this event for marketing and training purposes. We intend to use these images, where appropriate, in our promotional material to tell others about the benefits of the University. This may take the form of entries on the University's website, in emails and printed and digital media, to highlight to other students, prospective students, employers, staff and other stakeholders of the activities organised by the Employer Engagement and Student Employment Team.
