Access to Exeter Bursary (ATE)

The University of Exeter provides additional funding to certain part time and full time Home students in the form of the Access to Exeter Bursary.

We will automatically assess your entitlement for an award based on your household income information provided by the relevant UK Funding Body. However, we can only do this if you, and your parent(s), do not opt out of consenting to share your financial details when you complete your 'Application for Student Finance'.

Eligibility

You are eligible for the scheme if:

  • You have a confirmed a household income of below £25,000
  • You are a registered, full-time undergraduate student with Home Fee Status
  • You have applied and been approved for means-tested funding through student finance providers via Student Finance Direct

Eligible students will receive written confirmation of their bursary award once the Student Finance assessment has been completed and the household income figure has been received by the University.
