If you are a full-time, undergraduate EU or UK student, you can apply for a tuition fee loan to cover the cost of your tuition fees.

The tuition fee loan is paid directly to the University of Exeter. You can borrow up to the amount of your tuition fee for the year. If you do not apply for the Tuition Fee loan or decide not to apply for the full amount, then you will be required to pay the fees yourself, in line with the University of Exeter’s payment deadlines.

The loan is paid directly to the University of Exeter in the following instalments;

When payment is made to the UniversityHow much is paid
 At the start of term 1  25% of the tuition fee
 At the start of term 2  25% of the tuition fee
 At the start of term 3  50% of the tuition fee

Can I Change My Tuition Fee Loan Amount?

If you decide, during the academic year, that you wish to change the amount of Tuition Fee loan you have requested, you should contact Student Finance England. Please note however that if you reduce your loan amount, you will then become liable to the University of Exeter for the balance of your tuition fees.
