The new ‘With Proficiency in Innovation and Entrepreneurship’ Pathway nurtures and empowers future change leaders with the entrepreneurial mindset and capabilities to harness sustainable innovation to create and grow impactful organisations, and deliver change and new solutions that shape renewal for a greener, fairer, and healthier future in a fast-changing world.

The pathway accelerates the ‘innovation and entrepreneurial readiness’ of graduates through teaching innovation as a life skill to students from all disciplines, faculties and backgrounds ahead of entering an AI-integrated, rapidly evolving workplace.

Languages are an essential tool to compete in a global market, and to succeed in the workplace. Employers are increasingly aware of the benefits that language skills bring to their companies, which explains why languages have become so extremely popular among our students.

Students at Exeter can add “with proficiency in” a language to their degree title at no extra cost. To do so, you only need to complete 60 credits in the language of study.

The Language Centre offers the following languages at most levels:

• Streatham: French, Spanish, German, Italian, Mandarin, Japanese and  Russian.

You'll gain the knowledge and skills to tackle complex sustainability challenges, develop innovative solutions, lead collaborative efforts, and communicate effectively in diverse environments, all while focusing on creating a greener, healthier and fairer future.

This proficiency includes two key modules: Foundations in Sustainable Solutions and Advancing Sustainable Solutions, which provide insights and practical skills designed to inform your broader degree course and help you drive impactful change.

The “with proficiency in Law” pathway allows you to study a range of Law modules delivered by the Law School in Cornwall. With modules ranging from Legal Foundations to Environmental Law to Criminal Law to Corporate Law, you can select modules which align with your core programme of study or strike out in studying something for the pure intellectual curiosity.

The modules will develop your analytical and argument abilities, exposing you to a range of legal source material from international treaties to domestic statutes, court judgments and scholastic articles, delivered by a variety of research-active academics and former practising lawyers.
