Talks and Activities

During term time, you will find a number of talks and activities run by the Education Welfare Team and Wellbeing Services that you can access, both on campus and online. These activities are often run in conjunction with our Residence Life team and Mind over Natter. Please see below for details of activities coming up in Term 1 – these will be updated as details are confirmed, so keep checking back!

   5 Ways to Wellbeing: BE ACTIVE

Seated Pilates class: Do you have health conditions or mobility issues? Have you previously found exercise too hard, uncomfortable, not fun? Try a seated pilates class for fun accessible exercise for people living with chronic pain, fatigue and mobility issues.

Seated pilates requires just a dining type chair (with flat bottom) and a cushion or pilates ball . Gentle guided exercise followed by relaxation.

Leanne, our lovely instructor, is also offering a free one to one if you wish to follow up after this taster session.

Wellbeing Road Trip: This week, you can find Wellbeing information at Amory Info Point on Tuesday 26th October. Come and say hi to the Amory Education Welfare Advisors and see what useful tips you can pick up. We'll also have some information about the Exeter branch of GoodGym, where you can sign up and volunteer to combine exercise with helping in your community.
