Module description
Throughout your programme you will collate an evidence portfolio. This portfolio will contain work product that will showcase your application of knowledge in your workplace and mastery of the skills and behaviours. Within this module you will be given the tools to gather evidence which will enable you to demonstrate your competency against the knowledge, skills and behaviours (KSBs) outlined in the Accounting Finance Manager Integrated Degree Apprenticeship Standard.
Module aims - intentions of the module
This module aims to meet the requirements of the End Point Assessment to create a portfolio of evidence. The portfolio presents evidence from your real-work projects and is used to help you to answer questions in the Professional Discussion element of your End Point Assessment. The portfolio contains evidence from projects that you have completed. It will showcase elements of work that describe your competences and enabling you to demonstrate how you have applied your knowledge, skills and behaviours in a real-work environment to achieve real-work objectives. The portfolio is evidence that you have applied the knowledge, skills and behaviours in the Standard. Employers, with support from the university, will assist you to assemble your portfolio to ensure that the portfolio is completed to a satisfactory standard.

Syllabus plan
The syllabus is interwoven with the compulsory modules, drawing from and building on content and materials covered in those modules. The module will include taught masterclasses, and associated self-guided learning activities and peer-led action learning groups. The module will provide protected time for portfolio development with guidance and support from Academic Mentors to evidence academic and vocational learning in the portfolio.

Re-assessment notes
Deferral – if you have been deferred for any assessment you will be expected to submit the relevant assessment. The mark given for a re-assessment taken as a result of deferral will not be capped and will be treated as it would be if it were your first attempt at the assessment.
Referral – if you have failed the module overall (i.e. a final overall module mark of less than 40%) you will be expected to submit the relevant assessment. The mark given for a re-assessment taken as a result of referral will be capped at 40%
