Module description

The aim of this module is to offer an understanding of antifungal immunity and underlying molecular mechanisms. Pathogenesis of fungal infections, pattern recognition receptors, innate and adaptive antifungal immunity and mucosal antifungal immunity will be the main topics. In addition, the association between primary immunedeficiency and fungal infections, and fungal vaccines will be discussed.
