Student volunteering opportunities

When you graduate you will be joining thousands of students each trying to find their first graduate position in the environment sector. Employers are looking for candidates who stand out from the crowd, who have developed their skills, abilities and ambitions and who are not afraid to get involved. Volunteering and extra-curricular activities can help you achieve and demonstrate this.

There are lots of opportunities to get involved with practical sustainability in the Devon area.  By volunteering, you can:

  • gain new, practical skills and develop your confidence
  • work in the beautiful Devon countryside
  • make a positive contribution to Devon’s wildlife habitats
  • meet new people and develop your regional networks
  • build your CV
  • fulfil the volunteering element of the Exeter Award/Leaders Award
  • Do something different!

Keep up to date with opportunities
