International Women's Day 2021 #ChooseToChallenge
International Women's Day
Monday 8 March marks International Women’s Day 2021, a global day celebrating the social, economic, cultural and political achievements of women and call to action for accelerating sex and gender equality. This year’s theme is #ChooseToChallenge and we are delighted to let you know that we will be sharing with you an exciting programme of events and resources for you and your students to participate in during the week of 8-12 March. This programme will feature Zoom sessions and online content all of which will be linked to the subjects taught at the University of Exeter and which can complement in-school learning. These sessions could be broadcast in the classroom, assigned to students as homework, or shared with students who have an interest in the relevant subjects or in women’s rights and sex and gender equality.
If you wish to attend any of the online Zoom events please submit this form and you will receive access to the programme. If you are a teacher/adviser and wish for your students to attend these online events, please send them the same form to confirm their attendance.
(PLEASE NOTE: If you wish to sign up to multiple Zoom events for International Women's Day Activities Week, you only need to submit this form once. When answering 'Which event or activity have you taken part in/do you wish to register for?, please write 'IWD' or 'International Women's Day')
Please contact Melissa Barrett at firstname.lastname@example.org if you have any questions.
