International Women's Day #BreaktheBias Conference
Following on from the success of our virtual International Women's Day week last year, we are delighted to announce that we are holding a #BreaktheBias event on International Women’s Day on Tuesday 8th March from 10am-3pm on the Streatham Campus at the University of Exeter. It will be an exciting programme with an inspiring line-up of speakers, panels and academic sessions on empowerment, breaking bias, women's voices and gender equality. It is a fantastic opportunity to bring Year 10-12 students to campus for the day – spaces are limited so early booking is strongly advised.
- 9.30am-10am - Registration and arrival
- 10am-11.45am - #BreakTheBias talks and panel, including Breaking the Bias in Policing, in Leadership/Business, in Theology, in Healthcare, in Education, and in Student Life
- 11.45am-12.45pm - Sociology/Politics academic session
- 12.45pm-1.30pm - Lunch break
- 1.30pm-2.30pm - Talks and panel on Women's Social, Political, and Cultural Voices, Activism and Equality
- 2.30pm-2.45pm - Evaluation
- 2.45pm-3pm - Final questions and departure
