Public engagement

Wellcome Trust Institutional Strategic Support Fund for TREE has now come to an end and we would like to thank the Wellcome Trust for their support over the last 10 years. All of TREEs funding has come to an end and will not be renewed.

Our research is guided by the engagement of communities - we aim to actively involve the public in our research so we can maximise efficiency, gain two-way insights, target support, improve quality, foster innovation, join up thinking and monitor impact.

We proactively seek input from members of the public, patients, carers, charities, frontline healthcare professionals, support groups, and those with lived experience of illness within our research projects, to shape and cultivate their direction.
