Why choose Geography at Streatham Campus?

Why choose Geography or Environmental Science at Penryn Campus?

There’s never been a more important time to understand the diverse geography of our changing planet. In studying geography and environmental science you’ll consider the critical global issues and challenges of our times which are already affecting people and environments around the world.

We can offer a wide range of modules with flexibility to study what interests you. You’ll encounter exciting fields of enquiry such as climate modelling, vegetation and rivers, satellite mapping, environmental change, climate change, biosecurity, refugee and asylum geopolitics, urban futures, development and health geographies.

Our field courses are a rewarding and enjoyable experience. They form an integral part of your degree, positioned at the very heart of our teaching.

I love how much enthusiasm the academics all have for their subjects, whether that be climate change or the history of the planet, they engage you throughout. The lectures are always so interesting and interactive, and make you want to go and find out more about what the academics are so passionate about.

BSc Geography, Streatham Campus

My favourite part of the programme has been the module about climate change, as it delivers lots of information about how human activities have impacted global warming and the potential solutions. I also really like the diverse range of teaching styles, the helpful lecturers and how friendly the university is to international students.
