I am responsible for leading and managing the Planning Team. We support strategic decision making at the University by

• ensuring that valid data is available when required by internal and external customers (for example through KPIs and statutory reporting);
• providing context, analysis and insights relevant to the sector and the potential impact on the University through regular reports to senior management, and
• ensuring we are planning to meet our Institutional strategic objectives through co-ordinating the planning process.

The Planning Team also provide support for developing policy and process around workload planning (SWARM) and lead on the collection and analysis of Uniforum survey data.

I am the Institution lead for the HESA Discover Uni and Provider Profile records and provide support for HESA Student record and the Initial Teacher Training return.

I am currently part of the HESA Data Futures project team.  Data Futures was a sector-wide transformation programme led by HESA to facilitate in-year data collection, assurance and dissemination of HE student data.  HESA Data Futures will be implemented for 2022/3 and replace the current HESA Student Record.  A huge change in the reporting of student data for the sector and Exeter as a Provider.  It is exciting to be part of the project.

I work part-time. My working days are: Monday, Tuesday and Thursdays
