National Post-doc Appreciation Week (NPAW)

National Postdoc Appreciation Week

National Post-doc Appreciation Week (NPAW) is coming!

Monday 20th September- Friday 24th September 2021

The idea of a Post-doc Appreciation Week is to acknowledge, recognise and celebrate all the hard work that post-docs and researchers dedicate to research, teaching, mentoring, outreach and so much more! Originating in North America, UK research institutions in recent years have started to take on this celebratory practice; this year, a group of post-docs and researcher development officers from different institutions across the country have come together and planned a series of National Post-doc Appreciation Week (NPAW) events - free online events open to all researchers from all institutions in UK and Republic of Ireland

The events are designed to celebrate researchers through recognising the talents and contribution of researchers to academic life, and identifying career development opportunities. For more information check out the NPAW website, and follow us on Twitter (@UK_NPAW) and Instagram (@UK_NPAW) for chances to win prizes!

National Event:

'Celebrating Success'- hear from four speakers who were postdocs and where there postdoc took them.

4 x 15 minute talks, followed by a 20-30 minutes live discussion and Q&A

Further details to be annouced.
