Overview

My research focuses on metal-microbes interactions. I am currently involved in a project that aims at applying extremophiles for recovering metals and other material from e-waste and other secondary sources. I am also interested in the microbial ecology of acidic and metal-rich environments and polluted sites.

I am also a member of the Biosciences department in the College of Engineering, Mathematics and Physical Sciences
