In response to its duty of care to staff and groups/students travelling whilst employed by or attending courses at the University, a travel tracker service has been established that enables the University to locate all of its travellers in an emergency. It helps the University provide them with appropriate advice and support during crises. It provides security and location briefings to travellers before travel. Alerts travellers to specific threats in their chosen destinations and to supplys other services that may be reasonably required in times of emergency.

Update of the Community black list of carriers
Please note that an updated Community black list of unsafe airlines has been adopted today and will be published shortly in the Official Journal of the European Union. It will enter into effect on the day after publication in the Official Journal.
