Anyone interested in applying to The ESRC Impact Acceleration Account (IAA) ahead of the next application deadlines of July and September 2016.

What is the event about?

Ahead of the next application deadlines of July and September 2016, the ESRC IAA team are holding a workshop for potential applicants.

These workshops are an opportunity to find out more about the IAA and to begin to draft an application. The ESRC IAA Team are also always available to offer one to one support.

The July funding round will be the penultimate round for the smaller grant streams, the Impact Cultivation Award and Social Policy Network.

The September round will be the last round of funding for the larger grant streams, Project Co-creation and Knowledge Exchange Fellowships.  Those with any interest in applying to these streams are warmly encouraged to attend.

Programme

The ESRC Impact Acceleration Account (IAA) provides funding to enable our academics to build impact arising out of existing social sciences research, creating and strengthening relationships with non-academic partners.

At the workshop we will:

  • Discuss the four funding streams offered by the University scheme
  • Explain the process for submitting an application
  • Look at the application form and consider how best to supply relevant information
  • Consider impact evidence capture
  • Discuss ideas and answer questions put forward by workshop participants
