Workstream update

This workstream explores the leadership and management skills, behaviours and capabilities required for Professional Services leaders and managers at the University and how we can best support them.

The current focus is on ensuring that colleagues are inducted effectively into their new roles in the new Faculty structures and take advantage of the Faculty Leadership Development Programme.

Moving forward, this workstream will be investigating:

• role-specific development that might be needed
• the part that apprenticeships have to play
• coaching and mentoring for leaders and also the role of leaders as mentors of others
• accredited development (eg our ILM provision)
