Alumni Carol Service 2020

Due to COVID-19 restrictions the Anglican Chaplaincy have unfortunately been unable to hold their usual, very popular Christmas Carol Service.

Instead, this year it has been recorded without a congregation in the Mary Harris Memorial Chapel in accordance with COVID-19 secure guidelines, for all to enjoy online.

Remembrance Sunday Service 2020

This service was filmed in the Mary Harris Memorial Chapel on Streatham Campus, Exeter, before England went into lockdown on 5th November, in preparation for Remembrance Sunday (8th November 2020). It was socially distanced, risk assessed and supervised by University staff to make sure it complied with the Covid-19 guidelines in place at the time.

The service is led by the Rev'd Cannon James Mustard, Canon Precentor at Exeter Cathedral and an alumnus of the University.

The service includes:

a reading of names of the students and alumni who have died in conflict
the laying of wreaths
prayers and poetry
