East Park key facts
One of our new residences for 2020, East Park has been developed by our partners University Partnership Programme (UPP) and provides single standard and en-suite accommodation for undergraduate students.
There are 100 standard bedrooms with communal kitchen/dining and a lounge area. Bathrooms consist of an enclosed shower, toilet and a sink are shared between two students. 170 additional standard bedrooms will be opening in September 2021.
There are also 504 en-suite rooms. These are arranged in flats of 5 to 8 students sharing an open plan kitchen/diner with a lounge.
This residence is managed by UPP.

East Park will open in two phases: September 2020 and September 2021. Construction works for phase two of East Park will be underway during the 2020/2021 academic year, in close proximity to the phase one rooms. We will post weekly construction updates (lookaheads) detailing the nature of the work scheduled, including expected levels of noise and dust, on the webpages. Residents in 2020-21 may experience some disruption as we complete the remaining blocks, and begin work nearby on Project North Park, a new research and teaching building.

The prices below are the contract length total per room.
Standard rooms at East Park are approximately 9.6m²
En-suite rooms are approximately 12.7m²
These measurements are a guide only. In some residences room sizes vary considerably.
All rooms in each flat will have standard three-quarter double beds (6'3" by 4').

- IPTV is available via your computer and can be arranged through Glide Student. Please note you will still need a TV Licence to watch live TV or BBC iPlayer from any device.
Shared kitchens have a cooker with oven, hob and grill, microwave, fridge/freezer, water boiler/kettle, dining table, chairs and an ironing board. You will need to bring pots and pans, cutlery and crockery.
The quantity of items provided depends on the size of the flat. You will need to provide pots and pans, cutlery and crockery.

All meals are included for residents of our catered accommodation (Birks Grange, Exeter Halls, Mardon Hall and Holland Hall). If you are a visitor or are living in self catered residences you are more than welcome to purchase a meal at a catered hall throughout the term and join us at one of our themed events.
You can bring guests to meals in hall by purchasing a guest voucher (valid on the day of purchase only) from the Dining Room, Manager’s office or Reception before the meal available at one of our Catered Halls. You will need to hand in the receipt at the servery.
