How accessible is www.digitalskills.exeter.ac.uk?
Our accessibility tool BrowserStack indicates some minor issues potentially leading to non-compliance within components of www.digitalskills.exeter.ac.uk. We're unable to resolve some of these instances as certain User Interface elements are created by third-party providers such as PrimeReact, and the tool isn't always able to interpret the code effectively.

These reported issues are technical in nature but do not currently limit the user in any way or limit the true accessibility functionality of the site.

Compliance status
Digital Skills is partially compliant with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines version 2.2 AA standard. The non-compliances are listed below.
These are categorised as minor non-accessible issues by BrowserStack for the following reasons:
Non-compliance with the accessibility regulations
- Not all page content is contained within landmark regions, which might prevent assistive technologies conveying the structure and purpose of different content sections.
- Minor due to no real user impact on the interface.
- The landing page does not include a level-one heading (<h1>), which is essential for establishing a clear content structure and aiding screen reader users in understanding the page hierarchy.
- Minor due to no real user impact on the interface.
We plan to resolve the non-compliant features by 1 December 2025.
