Overview

Dom is a cultural professional with over 20 years of experience and a fellow of the Royal Society of the Arts & a member of The National Institute of Fundraisers. Dom's role includes using to culture and creatviity to help develop places (both Urban and Rural)

Recently Dom led the successful process for Exeter to apply to be UNESCO City of Literature & was on the group to develop the bid for Exeter & Torby's UK City of Culture bid.


 

Qualifications

 - BA Hons in English, Theatre and Textual Studies

 - MA in Staging Shakespeare

 - Fellow of the Royal Society of Arts

Career

Dom has founded his own theatre company (The British Touring Shakespeare Company), worked at the Globe Theatre, held a range of roles at Arts Council England, developed a new arts & culture service service at the University of Exeter, chaired The Exeter Cultural Partnership, led Plymouth Culture for 4 years

I work 37 hours per week. This is normally from home (due to Covid) and in the University office on a Thursday
