Neurodiversity Celebration Week

Neurodiversity Celebration Week is an annual event that takes place in order to celebrate and recognise the diversity of neurological differences that exist within society. It aims to elevate and honour the unique individuals who identify as neurodivergent and are often overlooked and dismissed by society due to a lack of understanding and awareness of their differences. This week-long celebration is about bringing visibility to those who are often marginalised and promoting the idea that neurological differences should be accepted and celebrated, rather than stigmatised. It seeks to celebrate and embrace the strengths and perspectives of those who think and process information differently, emphasising that neurological diversity is an essential part of human diversity.
