Event details
Please join us for a screening of the film WILDING, followed by a recorded Q&A session with Isabella Tree.
The film is based on the bestselling book by Isabella Tree.
‘Wilding tells the story of a young couple that bets on nature for the future of their failing, four-hundred-year-old estate. The young couple battles entrenched tradition, and dares to place the fate of their farm in the hands of nature. Ripping down the fences, they set the land back to the wild and entrust its recovery to a motley mix of animals both tame and wild. It is the beginning of a grand experiment that will become one of the most significant rewilding experiments in Europe.’
Please see the film trailer here.
The film is 1 hour 15 minutes long, this will be followed by a pre-recorded 26-minute Q&A session with Isabella Tree (conservationist and author). We will then have time for a discussion for those who wish to stay longer (a Teams meeting will be started for those who join online).
We have a limited number of tickets available to Women and Climate and the Global Systems Institute, so please sign-up as soon as possible to avoid disappointment. We encourage in-person attendance and would like to save the online screening option for those who really can’t make it in-person. If you would like to participate online, please get in contact with us.
