Join the West of England & South Wales Women’s History Network for its 32nd Annual Conference: Historical Perspectives on Women and Food, on Saturday 11 October 2025, at the University of Exeter, Forum Building, EX4 4PY.
In partnership with the Exeter Food Network, this full-day event features keynote speaker Polly Russell (British Library), expert panels exploring women’s roles in food production, cookery books, colonialism, and activism, plus a special session with the University’s Hypatia Collection. Engage with vibrant discussions on how food intersects with gender, power, and history. Registration opens at 9.15am.
