TESOL Book Launch

We would like to invite you an informal gathering to celebrate the launch of a new book edited by Nicky Bremner (colleague at SoE) and Sedigh Mohammadi (doctoral candidate at UCL), and with chapter contributions from Will Pearson (colleague at SoE) and supplementary material contributions from Esmaeel Abdollazadeh (colleague at SoE).

This will be from 5.30-6.30pm in Staff House on Wednesday 24 September.

The book is entitled Completing Assignments in TESOL and Applied Linguistics: A Practical Guide, is published by Routledge, and is a student-facing book to help students navigate the most important thing of all: their assignments! It's full of practical examples and useful tips to support students in their educational journeys, with individual chapters on specific assignment types, such as "Designing and Justifying a Lesson Plan", "Critical Discussion of an Issue", and "Language Analysis Assignments", among others. This event will be very informal and will be combined with a "meet the lecturers" TESOL student event. We aim to have some mingling and chatting until 6pm, after which there will be a few short speeches and then a student prize draw.
