From English-Medium Preparation to Arabic-Medium Teaching: Examining Science and Mathematics Teachers' Challenges, Perceptions, and Professional Performance in the Sultanate of Oman

Abstract: This presentation reports the findings of a study that examines science and mathematics teachers' perceptions of English-medium instruction (EMI) in their preparation programs and its impact on their Arabic-medium teaching practices in the Sultanate of Oman, where teachers receive university education in English but must teach in Arabic-medium government schools.
