Souleymane Bachir Diagne is a Senegalese philosopher and Professor of Philosophy at Columbia University. He trained at the École Normale Supérieure with Louis Althusser and Jacques Derrida and has written extensively on logic and the history of philosophy, as well as African and Islamic philosophy and literature. His most recent book is Universaliser: l’humanité par les moyens d’humanité (2024).
