Entry requirements
The information below will allow you to check qualifications from your country or territory to see if they may be accepted for entry to the University of Exeter, and the equivalent grades required. Undergraduate entry requirements for students from Cameroon
If you have already completed your A levels or the International Baccalaureate Diploma, you will be eligible for direct entry if you meet your chosen programme's entry requirements; see the relevant page of our undergraduate courses for details of these. You can apply through UCAS.
In addition, some Cameroonian university-level qualifications may be considered for direct entry, including:
- The Diplôme d'Études Universitaires Générales
- The Diplôme Supérieur d'Études Professionnelles
- The Higher National Diploma
The Cameroon Baccalaureate is not sufficient for direct entry to our undergraduate programmes. If you hold this qualification, you will need to take a recognised Foundation programme, such as one of our International Study Centre International Foundation courses at Exeter’s Streatham Campus, to be eligible for entry onto one of our undergraduate courses.

Postgraduate entry requirements for students from Cameroon
Postgraduate Taught
For direct entry onto our Masters courses, you will normally need to have completed one of the following qualifications, with a score of 14 out of 20 or higher, at a recognised institution:
- A four-year licence
- The Diplôme d'Études Superieures de Commerce
- The Diplôme d'Ingénieur
- The Maîtrise
Postgraduate Research
For entry onto postgraduate research programmes (including PhD) you will need to hold a relevant Masters degree, supported by a strong research proposal.
