Michael Bunney

Michael is completing a MPhil at the Institute of Cornish Studies. His research focus is the impact of the World Wars on the coastal communities of South Cornwall. Michael is also involved with the Cornish Democracy Unit of the Institute. His research compliments his community activism and his work in community heritage as Chairman of St.Goran Old Cornwall Society. He is a Bard of the Cornish Gorsedh and a Cornwall Councillor. He also teaches Cornish history in community education classes and is involved with Mebyon Kernow and Cornish cultural activities.
