Jess is a Research Fellow in Sociology at the University of Edinburgh. She currently leads a theme on Affordability, Equity and Economic Impacts in the UK Energy Research Centre. Her research focuses on understanding the local governance and policy needs for smart, flexible and fair energy systems. This includes research on interactions between decentralised energy systems and political devolution, and well as on new business models for retrofit and demand-side flexibility. Previously she was an ESRC postdoctoral fellow within the Energy Policy Group at the University of Exeter, and part of the IGov project. |
