Mrs Jacqui Richards

Jacqui Richards is Project Manager for the University of Exeter-led Future Fibres Network Plus. This is a £1.6m initiative within UKRI’s £15m Circular Fashion and Textile Network Plus programme led by Professor Tamara Galloway OBE. Jacqui coordinates a consortium of six partners, manages multiple budgets, including a £1m Flexible Fund, and leads stakeholder engagement, events and communications strategies to accelerate sustainable innovation in fashion and textiles.

Previously Jacqui successfully managed the DESNZ-funded 16 international partner £4.8m EEIST Project, delivering international impact through multiple stakeholder climate policy reports and events at COP26, COP27 and COP28. With over five years’ experience in research project management at Exeter, Jacqui combines strategic planning, stakeholder engagement, and impact delivery to support the University’s mission to 

tackle the climate and ecological crises.
