As a result of attending this course, you will be able to: - Understand some of the benefits of working with external organisations.

- Understand the difference between Contract Research and Consultancy and when each is an appropriate model to use.

- Know who to contact to support you with developing projects in this area.

- Understand what makes a successful project.

Who should attend this course:

Academics staff (Postdoctoral researchers should have at least 3 years worth of research experience) applying for funding from industry/government sources.
