A two-storey wing of Hope Hall has been recently converted to offer 21 bedrooms on a catered basis: 19 single standard rooms and 2 twin occupancy rooms. Bathroom facilities are shared: there are 5 shower rooms with toilets, plus a further 4 separate toilets. The showers are an enclosed cubicle style and there is also a mirror and waste bin in the shower-rooms.
There is a large social/study space for Hope Hall residents to use.
A utility room is available upstairs as well as in the social space downstairs, providing a space for preparing snacks and lunches. It contains a microwave, water boiler, sink and waste bins. An iron and ironing board will be available for use.
Meals will be taken in the dining room at Lopes Hall, approximately 4 minutes walk away. Find out more about our catered package.
Residents must move out during the Christmas and Easter vacations and return their key.

Hope Hall has single beds (three feet wide). The height of the storage space under the bed is a minimum of 26cm.
Bedrooms in Hope Hall have the following:

- Desk lamp, pinboard or whiteboard, and waste bin.
- Mini fridge (2 in twin rooms)
- High speed wired and wireless network/internet is available via Eduroam. You might also be able to use Glide Student outdoors; you will need to register online to receive access.
- No aerial socket in bedrooms; students can use a laptop or desktop to watch TV. Please note you will still need a TV Licence to watch live TV or BBC iPlayer from any device.

16 meals per week are included within the contract period for residents of our catered accommodation. This comprises breakfast and dinner Monday to Friday, and breakfast, brunch (weekend lunch) and dinner at weekends. See our meal times below for information about when your meal will be served. Please note that your meal can only be eaten in the dining hall which has been allocated to you.
