Exeter's Q-Step Centre for Applied Social Data Analysis integrates the use of the latest quantitative methods with the study of substantive real world issues in the social sciences

Gain the technical skills to understand, manage and store large data sets and enjoy the flexibility to apply powerful analytics to data across any area of industry, business or field of research. You’ll learn subjects across Data Science and Analytics including network analysis, text analysis and machine vision, as well as social contexts, governance and ethical considerations.

Our teaching will help you develop innovative approaches to how we use data to solve problems in modern society, whilst considering the social and technical implications of data science and AI.

You’ll be taught by experts who are active in internationally-recognised scientific research in a range of topics. This means you get to discuss the very latest ideas, research discoveries and new technologies, becoming actively involved in a research project yourself.

To suit your career aspirations, you also have the opportunity to combine your degree with modules in Strategy, Marketing, Management and Leadership.
