Melanie Eusebe MBE (LLD)

Melanie Eusebe is a Director at Google leading Diversity and Inclusion across EMEA (Europe, the Middle East and Africa), and is widely known as a powerful advocate for equality and economic empowerment. 

Melanie began her career as a Management Consultant, working for global organisations such as IBM, EY and Accenture. From there, she founded The Black British Business Awards (BBBA) to put the spotlight on talented business people in the UK of black descent, providing role models and inspiration for thousands.

In 2016, she became a member of the Commonwealth Women’s Summit Committee where she worked for the advancement and economic empowerment of women in the Commonwealth. She was the Executive Producer of the largest global convenor of women, the Women of the World Festival. She is also the author of Financial Wellness and How to Find It, an acclaimed guide to female financial empowerment.

Melanie’s pioneering work and achievements have drawn extensive recognition. She received her MBE from the Queen in 2021 for her contribution to diversity in business. She has featured as one of the top 200 women influencers in the creative industry, the top 100 black leaders in the media and the top 50 women speakers in the UK. She has addressed audiences in Australia, Toronto, the USA, Canada, South Africa and India. Melanie’s profile and standing make her a popular choice for judging panels, including the Women’s Fiction Prize, The British Startup Awards, and the Red Woman of the Year Awards.
