At our Penryn Campus, we offer exceptional accommodation just a couple of minutes’ walk from all the academic and social facilities, as well as at The Sidings, a short walk from campus.
Glasney Student Village
This is a purpose-built student village offering high quality, en-suite accommodation on campus. The two and three storey buildings are divided into self-catered flats shared with six other students. The rooms are furnished to a high standard; the majority of rooms have a double bed, wardrobe, desk, telephone and internet points. A number of rooms have been modified for students with disabilities.
The communal kitchen/dining areas are furnished with fully fitted kitchen, table and chairs, and TV and Freeview box, DVD/video. Additional facilities at Glasney Parc include coin-operated launderettes and a bicycle/surfboard store.
Twelve of the en-suite rooms at ground level are suitable for students with disabilities. Individual personal needs can be discussed with the Accessibility Service.
This accommodation has been open since September 2012 and is in Penryn, a short walk from the Penryn Campus and adjacent to Penryn Station. All rooms are fully furnished and en-suite. Each flat has a fully fitted communal kitchen/dining area as well as a living area with sofas and a television. The development is managed by CRM, who provide on-site management of all services, from IT to laundry via cleaning and security. Applications for accommodation here are made via our online system, Room Service, but your details will be passed to CRM, who will issue your contract.
The Accommodation pages on the Falmouth Exeter Plus website has all the information you need as a new or current student.

The telephone and internet in your room are both subject to separate contracts and charges (internal calls to other rooms on campus are free). There is a one-off payment for internet access, details are available on the Glasney Student Village webpages.
All new, unaccompanied students entering into Year one of an undergraduate programme who have firmly accepted the offer of a place at the University of Exeter and who have applied for accommodation by 31 July 2012 will be guaranteed an offer of a place in University owned/managed/approved accommodation.
Second and third year students
There is a good deal of private housing available for rent in Falmouth and Penryn, with rents typically in the region of £70-90 per week excluding bills. The Penryn Campus Accommodation Office runs accommodation fairs and other services to help students find private sector accommodation. You can find out more information on the Current Students Accommodation webpages.
Food and groceries
Glasney Student Village is self-catering, but if you prefer to have your meals prepared for you, the nearby campus restaurant and bar offer a range of options during the week. At the restaurant you can pay-as-you-go or buy vouchers from the Finance Office to cover your meals. The campus shop sells a variety of essential food items, and there are also two large supermarkets in nearby Penryn.
Like many other university campuses, our Penryn Campus has limited car parking. It also operates a Green Transport Policy and both staff and students are encouraged to use public transport and to car share. This means that there is no car parking available for students living on campus (except blue badge holders). A subsidised bus service operates between the campus, Penryn and Falmouth. Find out full details on our car parking page.
