Working Retreat

Dartington Hall

A full two day residential event held at the beautiful Dartington Hall, Devon. Here the students present their work in progress, collaborate to assist the newer students, contribute to panel discussions, discuss the future of the programme including our successful 'bright ideas' session as well as group discussions and talks from selected speakers. There is also time to take in the relaxing grounds and scenery plus an evening social event.

This year's 'highlighted event' was a panel discussion on 'Radical Futures to Solve the Environmental Crisis'. We heard from several environmental activists who discussed their views on how society can influence policy making.

Dartington Hall is a Grade 1 listed property set within a 1200 acre private estate. The buildings are located around the 14th century medieval courtyard. The gardens are Grade 11 listed, including a 1500 year old yew tree.
