We deliver a range of careers fairs which are designed to provide you with access to a range of employers offering part-time work, internships and graduate opportunities. These companies are keen to recruit Exeter students making them a fantastic opportunity for you to access potential future employers.

The Great Hall and Sanctuary, Streatham Campus

We are providing transport for Cornwall students who wish to attend the Careers and Placement Fair, based on the Streatham campus.

Coach Timings:

Depart Penryn Campus Bus Stops: 09:00 Arrive Streatham Campus: 11:00

Depart Streatham Campus: 15:30 Arrive Penryn campus: 17:30

Please be punctual as the coaches will be leaving at the times listed and will not wait for any latecomers.

Book your place - Please book your place online AND hand in a £5 deposit to Rebecca Takeda-Frost (Room A068, Peter Lanyon Building). The £5 deposit will be returned to you on the day. By booking onto this event you are confirming that you will be able to attend and will hand in a £5 deposit by Friday 11th October.

Please ensure that you have your University ID card (UniCard) with you

About: The largest of Exeter University's careers fairs, this event attracts over 80 exhibitors representing a wide range of sectors, including those ranked in The Times Top 100 Graduate Recruiters. It provides a unique opportunity to discuss placements, internships, graduate positions and postgraduate courses. Thursday 31st October 4-6pm DDM Seminars HIMN

The CSM Fair returns after a few years break to bring industry back to CSM. This fair is solely aimed at Camborne School of Mines students and is open all related industries (Mining, Geology, Geotechnics, Mineral Processing, Consultancy and Surveying). Run jointly with the CSM Student Association - this is a date for you diary!

Exhibitors will include IOM3, Dynamic Ground Solutions and Barminco (AusDrill)

We are providing coach travel for Cornwall Campus students who wish to attend the STEM Careers Fair based on Streatham campus.

Coach Timings:

Depart from Penryn Campus Bus Stops: 09:00 Arrive Streatham Campus: 11:00

Depart Streatham Campus: 15:00 Arrive back at Penryn Campus: 17:00

Firms attend seeking to recruit trainee solicitors and students to their vacation schemes and are joined by postgraduate course providers institutions and barristers’ chambers. There are lots of ways to gain experience whilst your studying at University - and become more engaged with the student and campus community.

Employers are always wanting students with soft skills (communication, leadership and teamwork) so get out of your comfort zone and learn some skills!

The Cornwall campus prides itself on sustainability and giving back to the Community - the Volunteering Fair (organised in conjunction with FXU) will give you a huge range of potential positions to really make a difference to the local area but also your CV!

This fair offers volunteering, internships, placements and graduate opportunities within the third sector and all aspects of the public sector. So many students already support, volunteer and intern at a wide range of charities, NGO’s and public sector bodies whilst studying, as well as engaging in the local community. This is a great event to talk to organisations, build your network and find opportunities to develop your skill set to become a real asset to any organisation in these sectors.

The CLES Fair is provisionally booked for this time and date. This annual event is a must for any CLES student who is interested in meeting over forty companies and organisations both locally and nationally to find out what opportunities are available. The event is run by the Employability Committee for CLES (ECCLES). More details to follow.
