Overview

I am responsible for the effective delivery of Executive Education programmes throughout the Business School. I work closely with the Associate Dean for Professional Education to develop and deliver new programmes. 

I lead the Professional Education team, who are responsible for the Circular Economy Masterclasses, the Government funded Help to Grow: Management programme plus a number of custom built client Executive Education programmes.

Career

I joined the Exeter Innovation Division in December 2019 as IPDO for Executive Education, looking after the Exeter Leaders Partnership and as a developer of new custom Executive Education programmes. Executive Education within the Business School at this point was a new concept so a lot of my role was setting up and implementing new systems and process to enable us to grow our offer.

Prior to joining the University, I had over 15 years experience working with Higher and Further Education establishments developing and delivering key strategic projects which increase skills levels and enhance business competitiveness.

Whilst working with The Cornwall College Group I was part of a successful Project Development Team which secured in excess of £50m of European Funds.As a Business Development Manager at Unlocking Potential, I worked alongside senior leaders in Cornish SMEs to identify business growth opportunities. To enable business growth, I supported the recruitment of graduates and mentored them to deliver business objectives. As Account Manager and Bid Writer for Wiltshire College, I helped businesses get involved in skills development and worked with strategic stakeholders to deliver key projects throughout Wiltshire and surrounding areas.

With an Executive Diploma in Leadership & Strategic Management, track record in project and bid development, and a practising Prince II Practitioner, I have an appetite for developing businesses through new initiatives and projects.
