Role

Brigid is the Assistant Director of the Sector and Corporate Partnerships Team that support impact development, research collaboration with external partners, and business engagement and innovation across the Faculties.

Brigid is a senior strategic manager specialising in the knowledge economy. She has worked in knowledge exchange delivery and income development for Russell Group universities for 30 years as well as holding an external examiner role and visiting lecturer posts at the Royal College of Art and University of the Arts London.

Career

My first career was in fiction publishing and then the cultural sector, before becoming Director of her consultancy company in London for 10 years with clients from the public and private sector. Before moving to Devon to work at Exeter, I had a similar knowledge exchange leadership role at Queen Mary University of London.
