Overview

I’m an enthusiast of applying advanced technology and scientific knowledge to drive large-scale positive environmental impact. I hold a PhD in Ecology and Biodiversity and have co-founded a startup aimed at enhancing transparency and cost-efficiency in conservation projects through the integration of ground-based data and IoT technologies.

In the University of Exeter, I'm the project manager of a large international research endeavour. I use in this role my experiences both in academia and industry, my leadership skills and my ability to collaborate with colleagues from diverse backgrounds to facilitate the execution of experiments and data sampling overseas and manage relationships and contracts with Brazilian public enterprises, universities, NGOs, and farmers.
