Overview
Elaine is the Education and Skills Partnership Development Manager leading the external facing Continuing Professional Development portfolio for the Faculty of Health and Life Sciences. The CPD team works closely with prominent healthcare experts and academic researchers within this internationally recognised Faculty to develop cutting-edge courses for NHS professionals and external partners. We want the reputation and research-rich talent pool of this highly regarded medical school and Faculty to attract those seeking short courses, to enhance their specialist knowledge, to inform and inspire.

Career
Elaine led the development of a portfolio of Healthcare Degree Apprenticeships at the University of Exeter for four years from 2019. For the previous fourteen years, she was working in roles aligned with the NHS - at the Royal Devon University Healthcare NHS Trust, with Devon Local Medical Committee, the statutory body representing General Practitioners and for the British Medical Association across the South West.
